Kirsty Wilkins joins Moy Park as HR director

Moy Park, a poultry supplier, appointed Kirsty Wilkins to the role of HR and organisation development director in November 2017. Wilkins replaced Mike Mullan, who left Moy Park to start an HR consultancy.

Before Moy Park, Wilkins had worked for Tulip, the UK subsidiary of pork co-operative Danish Crown, where she was HR director for 11 years. Moy Park CEO, Janet McCollum, said: “We are pleased to welcome Kristy to lead the Moy Park’s HR and organisational development strategy. Her passion, extensive experience and knowledge of the food sector will be an invaluable asset to support the continued growth of the business.”

Yorkshire Building Society appoints chief people officer

Susana Berlevy has been appointed as the chief people officer by Yorkshire Building Society, and is due to join in the second quarter of 2018. Berlevy had worked at Ed Broking, an insurance broker, as the HR director.

Speaking about her appointment, Berlevy said: “People are the most important resource in any organisation. I’m looking forward to working with colleagues and helping the society build on its achievements as a great place to work.”

Marie Gay-de Tailly to lead new HR initiative at ID Logistics

ID Logistics, a French contract logistics specialist, has welcomed on board Marie Gay-de Tailly as its group executive vice-president of human resources. Tailly will report to the COO and will also be part of the executive committee. Her role includes formulating global HR policies for the 17 ID logistic firms around the world.

Tailly held her first role as HR director of the Saint-Mamet group in 1991. She then joined Nestle Waters in 1996 as HR development director and led Agefos-PME as chief executive between 2002 and 2003. She was also the international HR development director at the Safran Group in 2004 and later worked at Messier Services as HR senior vice-president.

Glu adds Tesla’s chief people officer to board of directors

Glu Mobile has hired Gabrielle Toledano as one of its new board of directors. In addition to her role at Glu, Gabrielle also works as chief people officer at Tesla. Her role includes leading HR, facilities, security and environment, health and safety.

She had also worked at Electronic Arts for 10 years as chief talent officer and executive vice president. Before Electronic Arts, Gabrielle held various HR roles at Microsoft, Oracle and Siebel Systems.

Appleby Westward appoints new head of HR

Appleby Westward has appointed Tracey Russell as the head of human resources and training. Russell has prior experience as the head of learning services in business training company Hemsley Fraser, where she had worked for 20 years.

Russell’s career had started with the Royal Navy, she was a part of the pay and personnel management. She holds qualifications in HR management, leadership and project management.
