Melissa Rose joins as chief people officer at Jack Morton Worldwide

Prior to Rose’s job at Jack Morton Worldwide, she held positions in companies such as Hill Holliday, ISM, Carat and iProspect. She also recently served as the vice president of human resources at Anaqua, where she built and led the HR team. Rose was responsible for providing leadership and career development during the continuous growth and transformation of the organisation.

Rose’s role as the chief people officer at Jack Morton Worldwide will involve her helping the company continue to grow and retaining and nurturing their talent. She will serve on the company’s executive leadership team and report directly to the Chairman and CEO, Josh McCall.

MTC appoints new HR director

Vicki Sanders will be the new HR director at MTC. Prior to her position at MTC, Sanders worked at Sainsbury’s and Tesco’s, where she worked in the company’s management development centre to develop innovative training and development solutions for senior management.

Sanders has also held HR director positions at multiple companies including Marshall Aerospace, Defence Group and Domino Printing Sciences. Sanders said that she was excited to join MTC and was impressed by the overall organisation.

First ever chief inclusion & diversity officer appointed at BDO

BDO Canada LLP, a member of BDO International Limited UK, has announced the appointment of its first chief inclusion and diversity officer (CIDO). The company has recruited Patricia Gonsalves with immediate effect. Gonsalves has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting under her belt. She also works as a Quality Assurance partner in Toronto and will continue doing so whilst maintaining her position as BDO’s CIDO.

Speaking about her new role, Gonsalves said: “This role will help our firm cultivate a work environment that encourages and supports inclusion and diversity. Inclusion and diversity are about giving value to every one of us, no matter what our differences are. I look forward to planning and implementing initiatives that work towards enhancing our firm’s success by coming together and sharing our unique perspectives.”
