On September 17, 2020, we’ll be exploring the theme of ‘Embracing Cultural Shifts’ in the next installment of our HRD: A Virtual Experience online events, with leading industry experts from brands including Schneider Electric, Moody’s, Twitter, BAE Systems and more.

One of the fantastic speakers we have joining us on the day is Ruchi Jalla, Vice President, Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer at BAE Systems. Ruchi is a celebrated speaker, recognized as blending enthusiasm and insight to offer an engaging and actionable presentation. Previously, she held diversity and Affirmative Action/EEO roles in various organizations including BlackBerry, RBC Financial Group and Sodexo. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Western Ontario, GPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications, Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory and previously served on the Virginia SHRM State Council and NOVA SHRM Board of Directors.

During September’s HRD: A Virtual Experience, Ruchi will discuss ‘D&I Strategy: Sparking Real Progress’. In the midst of a global human rights movement for racial equality, changes at a societal level are not happening fast enough at a corporate level. Many organizations are coming forward with statements about diversity and inclusion but is truly reflective of their strategy? This session will guide you on how to incorporate these values into your hiring plans, board level representation, and L&D programs. D&I cannot be a passing trend but must be alive and embedded into the business.
