What does the career path of the future look like? We are already seeing a change in how employees plan their careers – it is more and more rare for an employee to stay at one organisation or continue to grow in one type of role. Beyond this, the needs of organisations are constantly in flux – roles that were here today may not be relevant tomorrow.

HR needs to develop new approaches and frameworks that support the identification and proactive mapping of the most suitable career pathways for individuals. Employees need the flexibility and mobility to continue to grow within an organisation facing ever-changing needs, or to transition into other more suitable roles elsewhere.

Cognition Education support individuals to successfully transition into new careers in teaching, using assessment tools and career development planning to identify how individuals can utilise current skills and knowledge from previous careers to progress through various management, leadership or specialist roles within the education sector.
