Much the same way there has been an increased understanding of the role mental health takes in physical health, organisations are beginning to understand the importance of financial health as a source of stress and stigma in employees’ lives.

Business leaders are starting to look at new methods of supporting the financial wellbeing of their employees – from flexible pay schedules to impartial advice services. However, employees are often not comfortable discussing their financial wellbeing with their employer or even each other.
