Talent gets the tech treatment this week, as SmartRecruiters announce two new partnerships, SAP’s Rizing team up with Eightfold.ai, and a new HR Tech startup in Mumbai gamifies the candidate experience.

So, what’s been happening?

Key Players Announcements:

  • Australian online screening and verification company CVCheck has entered into a partnership with SmartRecruiters, responding to demand from mutual customers looking to improve and de-risk talent recruitment and people risk management. Both the companies have released a live system, which allows clients of SmartRecruiters to access CVCheck via their existing dashboard (via The Market Herald).
  • In more SmartRecruiters news, Unit4 is entering into a global partnership with SmartRecruiters that will extend its HCM portfolio, adding its state-of-the-art Talent Acquisition platform to its People Experience Suite. Unit4 is expected to bundle SmartRecruiters’ solutions with its own ERP and Human Capital Management solutions to provide comprehensive source-to-hire and talent management capabilities for service-organizations (via HR Technologist).
  • SAP functional and technical firm Rizing has entered into a partnership with Eightfold.ai. With the combination of Rizing’s proficiency in implementing SAP SuccessFactors and Eightfold’s Talent Intelligence Platform, there will be an improvement in the capabilities of SAP SuccessFactors using Eightfold’s algorithms to enable advanced hiring and retention while dealing with diversity and a full candidate experience that builds the talent ecosystem (via PR Newswire).

  • HireVue has announced the addition of new game-based assessments that measure job-related emotional intelligence to its suite of assessments. These include ‘e-Motions’, ‘TeamChat’, ‘LeaderChat’, and ‘Pulse’ which together measure empathy, influence and impulsivity. Their purpose is to give hiring managers precise insight into social abilities that are directly related to employability, job performance and leadership (via HireVue).
  • Workgrid Software has added an enterprise-grade Natural Language chatbot to its Digital Employee Experience Platform (DEXP). The new addition functions as a centralized workplace chatbot for organizations, that is capable of handling inquiries from across the enterprise (via PR Newswire).
  • Ease has announced a partnership with BenefitMall’s Agency Workspace broker portal. The partnership will allow brokers a more streamlined benefits-management experience. Ease will now integrate directly with Agency Workspace and allow users to sync data directly through the cloud (via Insurance Business).

New HR Tech Spotlight

  • Mumbai-based HRTech startup Talent Litmus has announced an undisclosed funding round from Inflection Point Ventures (IPV) and Let’s Venture. Talent Litmus has a 45-minute interactive role-playing mobile game called Nautics, which collects a detailed map of the candidate’s personality, attitude, and cognitive abilities. Companies can then judge the client’s behavioural skills based on the choices that they make in the game (via Inc42).
