The Future of Talent Survey: 6 key findings for 2022

by pymetrics | Employee Engagement

The pandemic has inevitably forced organizations to shift operational activities and re-prioritize key initiatives. Yet, as many economies begin to emerge from the uncertainty and regain some sense of normality, organizations are able to rethink how they can deploy their respective talent functions more effectively.

In many ways, the pandemic has simply accelerated uptake in the technological solutions organizations were already experimenting with. However, the pandemic has also pushed HR leaders to be more ambitious when it comes to how their organizations attract, retain and engage with prospective employees.

This year, HRD Connect’s Future of Talent Survey, in partnership with Pymetrics, explored how leading HR practitioners are facilitating those changes within their organizations. We asked professionals about the challenges they face in terms of attracting talent, barriers to employee engagement and gaps in technology that could help organizations create more diverse and innovative teams.

This report not only highlights the responses we collated, but adds additional context through the insights of industry leaders on how their organizations are utilizing technology to capitalize on existing soft skills, bolster diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and thrive in a post-pandemic environment.
