Driving Employee Empowerment Through Video

by Brightcove | Digital HR

The repercussions of the global Covid-19 pandemic are still being felt across industries and markets worldwide. As businesses look to recover their losses and rebuild, many are also looking at how their workforces will evolve.

The pandemic forced teams to work remotely, as local lockdowns prevented employees from travelling to work. These remote working models have now become the norm and many businesses are opting to continue these strategies – or at least a hybrid version – into the future.

As the world of work evolves, businesses will need to consider how they remain in touch with their employees and ask themselves whether current methods of communication are sufficient.

Research from Fortune Business Insights shows the global video streaming market had an estimated value of $372.07 billion2 in 2021. Demand, however, is projected to grow from USD 473.39 billion in 2022 to USD 1,690.35 billion by 2029, exhibiting a CAGR of 19.9%.

In a bid to find out how businesses are using video, HRD Connect partnered with a trusted leader in streaming technology, Brightcove, to survey over 150 HR leaders on their use of video, as well as the use of engagement metrics and measurements for success.
