The 2018 Autumn Budget and what it means for mental health

One of the most anticipated days in the financial calendar has come and gone – the Autumn Budget announced on Monday 29 October revealed the Government’s fiscal plans for the months and years ahead.

Moreover, this iteration of the Budget took on added significance, as it marked the last major financial statement before the country withdraws from the European Union (EU) in March 2019.

Perhaps most reassuring was the emphasis the Chancellor placed on mental health.
