And with levels of debt increasing, that’s hardly surprising. This debt can have a corrosive effect on all areas of our lives, particularly our performance at work. Day-to-day finances are the main cause of stress for 18.5m people in the UK. And at least 25% of these people admit living in such a precarious financial position affects their ability to do their job.*

The reality could be much higher, and UK businesses and their employees are suffering as a result.
