Many leaders view the future of work as operating according to a hybrid working model, whereby teams split their time between home and office, to achieve the benefits of both approaches to working. However, for reasons ranging from health and safety to culture, finances to employee feedback, a range of organisations have opted to stick with the remote working model.
One such organisation is the technology giant Dropbox, which launched its exclusively ‘virtual first’ operations in October 2020. Pressing ahead with ‘virtual first’ working a year later, many leaders would be keen to learn how the model could progress, what the stumbling blocks have been, and how to effectively execute strategy for a workforce spread across the world.
