The world of work is changing vastly through all aspects. Most noticeably in the reward area. Increasingly more organisations are offering many different benefit schemes depending on industry and company size. This is a positive for workplace culture moving forward, as both team and individual-based incentives are said to increase productivity and staff retention.

Although there are many positives that come along with offering personalised benefits schemes, there are many challenges for organisations that decide to adopt this new way of rewarding staff. For example, it can be a challenge for companies to follow a general reward based scheme, or make this personalised to match different workers preferences. It’s also important for companies to understand the trends and constant changes in the benefits area, this is imperative if they intend to attract and retain the best talent.

This week’s podcast is with Karen Gaynor, Head of Reward at Siemens who will be focusing on creating a rewards culture which benefits all.
